Lahore Qalandar vs Karachi Kings – Super Over – PSL 2018

Narine Super Over gives Lahore season’s second win

Usman Khan’s final-delivery no-ball set up the Super Over, following which Sunil Narine held his nerve with the ball.

With the scores tied at 163, The game went for a super over in which playing first, captain Brendon McCullum hit a six as Lahore posted 11 in their six deliveries off Mohammad Amir in the Super Over. Qalandars gave Kings a target of 12 runs to win.

Lendl Simmons and Colin Ingram opened for Kings in chase of 12 runs. Karachi could only manage eight in their over. Sunil Narine took the prize wicket of Ingram on the third delivery of his over.

The result hurt Karachi Kings even more as fast bowler Usman Khan had overstepped after Lahore batsman Sohail Akhtar was caught off what should have been the final delivery of the match with three needed to win.
